The Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, opened a new training range, established for modeling the situation on the front line, holding training in accordance with real battle conditions, preventing enemy attempts at sabotage and intelligence gathering, taking countermeasures and holding other practical training. Relevant classes were established to hold preparatory training under all circumstances.
The personnel will learn to use small arms, mortars and rocket-propelled grenades.
The defense minister reviewed the central control post, shooting and tactical area, intelligence trail, tactical streak, other administrative buildings and facilities. He also watched practical training of the intelligence unit and exercises carried out in the shooting points, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.
