Zarif holds talks in Helsinki

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with his Finnish counterpart Timo Soini in Helsinki.

Zarif expressed hope that the nuclear deal Iran struck with Iran and the six world powers in November 2014 and the subsequent lifting of Western sanctions on Iran would pave the way for expansion of cooperation between Iran and Finland. 

The two foreign ministers also discussed bilateral cooperation on political, economic, banking and parliamentary issues. 

Soini said that Iran and Finland can give a boost to their cooperation in different areas such as communications and education, IRNA reports.
