Zohra Aghamirova ranked 6th in qualification round with hoop routine at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku

Azerbaijani gymnast Zohra Aghamirova was ranked 6th after performing in qualifying competitions on individual performances of gymnasts in exercises with a hoop with 19,8 points at the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku, thus claiming to reach the final on Sunday.

Dina Averina (Russia) showed the best result with 22.6 points. Katrin Taseva (Bulgaria) ranked second with 20.15 points, Vlada Nikolchenko (Ukraine) ranked third with 20.05 points. 

Baku is hosting the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup at the National Gymnastics Arena. More than 200 gymnasts from 39 countries are participating in the tournament: more than 70 athletes will perform in individual programs and 25 team will compete in group exercises. Starting from this year it is possible to get a license at the World Cup to participate in the Olympic Games.
