Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said she would like to meet U.S. President Donald Trump ahead of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
She noted that her administration has already sent a note to Washington requesting a meeting with Trump.
The exact date of a Trump-Putin meeting remains unknown.
"The meeting will give me the possibility to share our views with Trump about the most painful issues for [our] country," Agenda.ge cited her as saying.
Zurabishvili added she does not know whether Trump will have the time for such a meeting.
