OPEC will keep oil prices above $100 per barrel

 

Iranian Petroleum Minister Rostam Hasemi said that OPEC would summon a special session if oil prices drop below $100 per barrel in 2013, Trend reports.

OPEC ministers had their 162nd regular meeting in Vienne on Wednesday and set oil extraction at 30 million barrels daily.

OPEC members are Algiers, Angola, Venezuela, Iraq, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Ecuador. 35% of world oil extraction is carried out by OPEC states.
