A field with oil reserves worth $1.8 trillion has been found in Iran, ITAR-TASS cites Ahmad Galebani, Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister.
According to the OPEC, Iran was extracting 2.68 million barrels of oil daily in July 2013. Oil fields with 18.6 billion barrels were discovered in the past several years. The chance of finding oil via exploration drills was 90% in 2012.
