Saudi Arabian Oil Minister Ali al-Naimi told a conference organised by OPEC in Vienna that the future of the oil industry looks positive.
"In terms of the long-term energy outlook, the future looks very positive. The global economy is growing, the number of members of the middle class and the population of the planet are also growing," he noted.
According to the minister, OPEC countries will be able to meet the global demand for oil in the future. "We are meeting global demand and I don't see this changing," TASS cited Al-Naimi as saying.
