The fifteenth International Exhibition “Oil, gas and oil-chemistry of
Iran” in Tehran, with the participation of the Russian Ministry of
Energy, has ended. Zarubezhneft, Sibur Holding and the Pipe Metallurgy
company presented their exhibits, Iran News reports.
The Russian Ministry of Energy presented opportunities and prospects
for developing Russia’s fuel and energy complex. The main event was
the round-table “Co-operation of Russia and Iran” discussion between
the Russian Ministry of Energy, Iranian Ministry of Oil and
representatives of Russian and Iranian oil-gas companies.
In his opening address, the Assistant Director of the Department of
State Energy Policy and Energy Effectiveness of the Russian Energy
Ministry, Stanislav Dorzhikevich, noted that the event will improve
Russian-Iranian co-operation and show new trends in this sphere.
Russian-Iranian trade turnover has shown growth in 2000-2009. Energy
is one of primary spheres of co-operation between the countries.
