A Norwegian company Clean Energy Invest obtained the right to build 4
hydroelectric plants on the Adzharistskali river, Business Georgia
reports. Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri said that two
other Turkish companies, Kolin and Limak, participated in the tender.
The cascade of hydroelectric plants will produce an overall 115.5
megawatts - 578.5 million kilowatts per hour. The cascade consists of
the Zomleti, Vaio, Koromkhe and Chorokhi hydroelectric plants. The
energy is produced for domestic consumption.
