A group of BOTAS company experts will arrive in Baku on May 10 to take part in the working out of an agreement on a gas contract between Azerbaijan and Turkey, reports 1news.az, citing ANS. This was announced by the head of the investment department of the Azerbaijani National Oil Company Vagif Aliev. The document will take 2-3 days to draw up.
The sides previously negotiated the approval of an agreement and signed protocols on April 26. The Turkish Energy Minister has announced that the sides reached an agreement on gas prices after the talks.
The issues of the "Shakh-Deniz" gas price, the amount of gas exports to Turky, and transit gas prices are on the agenda of bilateral Turkish-Azerbaijani gas negotiations.
It is expected that the agreement will be signed on May 16 during the visit of Turkish Premier Erdogan to Baku.
