Russian President Dmitry Medvedev wants the State Duma to ratify the agreement between Russia and Ukraine prolonging the Russian fleet's presence in the Black Sea in Crimea for 25 years after 2017, RIA Novosti reports.
Information on the document was placed in the State Duma’s database. President Medvedev and Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich signed the agreement on April 21st in Sevastopol. The document says that the agreement may be prolonged by 5 years.
Both the State Duma and the Verkhovna Rada will consider the agreement on April 27th.
