Magomedsalam Magomedov, the president of Dagestan, has arrived in Baku on an official visit, RIA Dagestan reports citing the press service of the president.
He has had meetings with the speaker of the Mejlis of Azerbaijan, Oktay Asadov, and with the prime minister of the republic, Artur Rasi-Zade.
The main topic of negotiations has been oil-drilling on Dagestani territory. The question of construction of a hydro-electric power station on the River Samur has also been discussed.
