Ukraine to buy Azerbaijani gas

According to the energy and fuel minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko, Kiev has held negotiations with its Azerbaijani partners, who are building a dry gas terminal in Georgia together with Romania and Bulgaria, RBK
reports."We think that Ukraine will buy 5 billion cubic meters of gas in the first stage and 5 more in the second stage" - he said.The head of the ministry said that the construction of a Ukrainian dry gas terminal would cost Ukraine $1 billion, but having constructed a terminal in Odessa, Kiev would find an alternative to Russian gas."The construction of the terminal would be soon recompensated" - the minister added.
