Socar opens new gas stations in Georgia

Thesister company of SOCAR (the state oil company of Azerbaijan), SOCAR Georgia Petroleum, has opened three new gas stations under the ‘SOCAR’ trademark in Georgia, meeting modern standards, Trend reports, citing a SOCAR press-release.


The stations were opened in Gori, in the village of Fvirtli in the Kutais region and the region of Khashuri.


The total number of gas stations trading under the SOCAR brand has reached 37.


The authorities of SOCAR Georgia Petroleum and the Georgian government participated in the opening ceremony.


The co-founder of SOCAR Georgia are: SOCAR – 51%, Petro-Trans FZCO – 24.5% and Ivan Chkhartishvili – 24.5%.
