Russia and Norway urge Iran to respect UN decisions

Russia and Norway urge Iran to restore the trust of the international
community and respect UN decisions, a joint declaration after Russian
President Dmitry Medvedev's visit to Norway says, ITAR-TASS reports.

The two countries call on Iran work with IAEA to prove without doubt
that its nuclear program is peaceful.

The sides also support the independence, sovereignty and territorial
unity of Iran, as well the right of Iranians to determine their
national policies.

Russia and Norway also welcome the work of regional international
organizations as a key element in the fight against the production and
trafficking of drugs from Afghanistan, the document says.
