A round-table in Ingushetia featuring government figures, NGOs and
religious organizations of Ingushetia and North Ossetia discussed the
rapprochement of good-neighbourly relations and measures on the return
and development of refuges.
The participants discussed ways of eliminating the consequence of the
Ossetian-Ingush conflict, mainly concerning refugees, their return and
integration, Rosbalt reports.
"We must sacrifice our national ambitions for the rapprochement of the
two peoples", - said the chairman of the Council of War Veterans and
labor of North Ossetia Soltan Kabolov.
A mufti spokesman from Ingushetia Bashir Nalgiyev is confident that
"the inner barrier of doubts between peoples can be broken".
Ingush Deputy Prime Minister Magomed-Sali Aushev thinks that "the time
has come to switch from words to actions".
