Aliyev and Tadic sign joint declaration

The presidents of Azerbaijan and Serbia, Ilkham Aliyev and Boris
Tadic, signed a joint declaration in Baku today, RIA Novosti reports,
citing the Azerbaijani presidential press service.


Both presidents note that there is great potential for broadening ties
between the countries in various spheres, including economic ties, and
expressed confidence in the further development of bilateral
relations.


They exchanged opinions on bilateral, regional and international issues.


The presidents signed a protocol on cooperation between the countries'
foreign ministries and four intergovernmental documents: the scrapping
of visas regime for people with diplomatic and official-service
passports, a convention on cancelling double taxation of income and
property, cooperation against crime and trade and economic
cooperation.
