Turkish Premier to tour South American countries

Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan has embarked on a South American
tour, visiting Brazil, Argentina and Chili, TRT reports.


Before arriving in Brazil, Erdogan announced at Esenbog airport in
Ankara that the policy is aimed at broadening relations with the
countries of Latin America and the Caribbean Sea, and has produced
results.


According to Erdogan, trade turnover with those countries was $1
billion ten years ago, wheresas today it has reached $5.5 billion.
Erdogan emphasized that they plan to increasetrade turnover to $10
billion, noting that he is accompanied by approximately 150
businessmen.


Apart from bilateral and other official meetings in Brazil ,Erdogan
will participate in the third forum of ‘Civilization Alliance' in the
city of Rio-de-Janeiro on May 26-29.
