The president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, and the leader of
Azerbaijan, Ilkham Aliyev, signed a joint declaration on joint
investments as one of the main factors of their economic partnership
after talks. The presidents agreed to invest in energy, trade, heavy
industry, engineering, transport, communications and other spheres of
mutual interest, APA reports.
The presidents participated in the ceremony of the signing of
agreements on information technology, cooperation in science, an
agreement between the Belarus Ministry of Labor and Social Protection
and Azerbaijani state committee 'Family, woman and children's issues',
on environment protection, statistics, cooperation between the Belarus
State Committee for Statistics and Azerbaijani Accounts Chamber.
