Iran reduced daily oil extraction by 12,000 barrels in March, compared with February, to 3.35 million barrels daily, OPEC says in the monthly report, ITAR-TASS reports.
The main oil extractor of OPEC is Saudi Arabia. It was extracting 9.834 million barrels of oil daily. It increased oil extraction by 24,000 barrels, compared with February.
Independent experts believe that Riyadh will need to increase extraction by 25% in order to compensate the anti-Iranian oil embargo.
