AzerbaijaniPresident Ilkham Aliyev and President of Bulgaria Georgi
Parvanov have held an extended meeting, AzerTag reports.
Ilkham Aliyev greeted Parvanov and emphasized the importance of the
meeting for further development of relations. He said that Azerbaijan
is ready to develop cooperation in all sectors – economic, political,
energy and cultural.
Parvanov agreed with Aliyev’s rating of the positive state of
relations between the two countries. He noted the activeness of
relations between the countries’ ministries and other institutions.
It was noted that the position of Bulgaria, as a member of EU, should
be active in forming European policy in the region in general and
Azerbaijan in particular.
