Yerevan fire service fleet receives Japanese vehicles

The presentation of the new firefighting vehicles granted to Armenia by Japan took place on the square the capital city Yerevan this Wednesday, News-Armenia reports. 
According to the emergencies minister, Armen Yeritsyan, the new vehicles will help the fire brigades in the capital and in many regions of Armenia. This program is proof of the growing friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Fire vehicles worth $8 million were delivered by the Japan administration according to an agreement signed in February 2009. Japanese specialists have also been sent to Armenia.
