Russia and South Ossetia to simplify border-crossing

 

The Russian Federal Customs Service and the South Ossetian State Customs Committee will sign an agreement on control of persons, transportation and goods crossing the Russian-South Ossetian border in January 2015, TASS reports.Russian and South Ossetian officers will operate at the Nizhny Zaramag crossing post (North Ossetia) together, according to South Ossetian Chief Customs Officer Murat Tskhovrebov. He clarified that border-crossing procedures will be simplified. The official reminded that the Verkniy Ruk customs office will continue operating.
