Iran on maximum oil production after imposition of sanctions

According to the International Energy Agency, currently Iran's oil production has reached its highest figure in the time after the introduction of Western sanctions against Iran's oil industry. Thus, in April this year an average of 2 million 880 thousand barrels of oil a day were produced, the highest rate since July 2012.

At the same time, there was an increase in oil production in Iraq. The country produces 3.8 million barrels a day, which is a record for it in the last 30 years. In Saudi Arabia, which is the largest exporter of oil in the world, production of oil declined slightly, while nevertheless continuing to produce more than 10 million barrels a day, media resource Iran.ru reports.

In general, the volume of oil production in the 12 OPEC member countries in April this year amounted to 31 million 210 thousand barrels per day. This is the highest indicator since September 2012, and, apparently, in the current month it will remain at the same level.
