Armenia and Orenburg territory sign cooperation agreement

The Armenian government and Orenburg territory will sign an agreement
on cooperation on Friday, aimed at establishing mutually beneficial
bilateral relations, the governor of the territory Alexey Chenyshov
said at a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, the Armenian
presidential press-service said, News Armenia reports.


Chernyshov said he arrived in Armenia with a delegation consisting of
heads of departments and specialists from different spheres.


For his part Sargsyan recalled his visit to Orenburg territory in
August 2009. He expressed his gratitude for the attitude towards his
compatriots living in Orenburg.

The delegation from Orenburg territory headed by Alexey Chernyshov is
visiting Armenia on the 20th-21st of this month. The head of the city
of Orsk Yuri Berg, Russian State Duma deputy Victor Nefedov, deputy
chairman of the government Sergey Gorshenin, deputy chairman of the
territory’s legislative assembly Alexander Zharkov, the head of
Novotroitsk Andrey Velikanov and the chairman of the Orenburg
territorial social Fund of Armenian Culture ‘Teryan’ Samvel Oganesyan
accompanied Chernyshov on his visit.

The delegation is also backed by heads of industrial enterprises,
commercial structures, social organizations, educational institutions
and healthcare agencies.


The schedule of the visit includes meetings with Armenian Premier
Tigran Sargsyan and All-Armenian Catholicos Garegin the Second.
