The chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, Ovik Abramyan, will
visit Cyprus on June 10th to participate in the European conference of
parliamentary speakers in Limassol, News Armenia reports, citing the
assembly's PR agency.
Gegam Garibjanyan, head of the parliamentary establishment, and David
Arutiunyan, chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on
state-legal issues are included in the Armenian delegation.
Abramyan will make a speech on ‘The rights and responsibilities of the
opposition in a democratic parliament’.
The chairman of the National Assembly will have several bilateral
meetings with the chairman of the Cypriot Chamber of Representatives,
Marios Garoyian, the chairman of the Swiss Parliament, Per Westerberg,
and heads of other parliamentary delegations.
