Georgia celebrates its key national religious holiday, Giorgoba
Georgia is once again celebrating St. George's Day, known as Giorgoba. According to the new calendar, November 23rd marks the day Georgia's patron saint was broken on the wheel. Festive services are being held in his honor across the country.
