Most Russians (36%) associate the migration crisis in Europe and the large flow of refugees from the Middle East with the actions of the United States. According to a VTsIOM poll, Russians are much less (16%) likely to blame the governments of the Middle East where the fighting is taking place. Some respondents believe that responsibility lies with the world political system as a whole (9%) or the European Union in particular (6%). Another 5% indicated terrorists and Islamists as the main perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the Director General of the Center for Political Information, Alexei Mukhin is sure that soon the face of Europe will change: "The destruction of the political, social, and economic codes is underway. Is this a contrariwise Reconquista? A conquest of Europe by the Asian barbarians, the Arab barbarians, etc"
Mukhin considers the migration as an artificial crisis: ‘’This is a survival test for the EU. But the test is not real, it is some laboratory experiment on a vast scale"
Explaining his point, the expert noted that there are mechanisms for reception and distribution of immigrants in Europe: "Germany has tried them once on Turkish migrants. The experience has been quite successful, and therefore Germany rather quietly watched until recently, watched the prospect that large masses from the Middle East and North Africa would enter its territory. Other countries, of course, were less ready for this, so their reaction was very spontaneous, active and as a rule very negative. "
Mukhin predicts that soon Europe is waiting for new waves of refugees: "The first wave that took place, of course, was not the last. There will be another wave and then another wave, and this is not spontaneous or very natural. The first wave, as you noticed, and many experts paid attention to it as well, is represented by young people who have money, who have means of communication. The number of women, children and the elderly among them is quite small. This means that these people have come to Europe to establish a specific communication system and then bring their relatives, so there will be a second wave, which will require much more financing for the EU. Then a third wave will follow, because those people who are currently in the Middle East and North Africa, as well as in Afghanistan and so on, see that it works and, naturally, they want to repeat the same path."
The expert notes that the main waves of migration are ending in Jordan, in Turkey, and they are most affected economically by this migration imbalances. The number of those migrants who have come to Europe is much smaller, therefore, for Europe, I think this is very good news. I think Europe is imitating the pain and grief that has befallen on them as a result of the waves of migration in this case. Moreover, the same Germany indirectly proves once again that the situation is not that bad by allocating funding for the settlement of the refugees. I will turn your attention to the fact that such a large allocation of funds, mainly from Germany, suggests that the euro will be weakened soon. And this is good news for the European economy, and this will mean that the ECB will issue increasingly more funds for the migrant issues so the economy will have an opportunity to grow against the background of such a swing. And it's good news,’’ Mukhin suggests.
According to him, the EU will come out of this situation, renewed, not only economically, but also politically, "It is clear that the migration problems will force some radicalization of the political elites in Europe to the right side, and this process is already under way, we see it. There will be a collapse of the institutions, those institutions that do not withstand this stress. There will be a formation of new ones. Perhaps even the formation of new financial centers in Europe. In any case, with regard to the integration process, there will be a convergence of the EU with the United States, and most interestingly, with Russia too. Because the European politicians, those who are real politicians, but not populists, are now turning towards Russia. All this will end when the EU signs the investment agreement with Transatlantic USA. It seems to me that the US is playing, if not the crucial, then one of the key roles in the organization of the hype around the migration crisis in Europe."
