The dollar fell by 8.5 kopecks to 79.07 rubles at the opening of trading on the Moscow Exchange on Tuesday.
The euro climbed by 17.75 kopecks to 86.58 rubles.
The Chinese yuan edged up by 0.3 kopecks to 11.38 rubles.
