The assistant of spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on international affairs, Ali Akbar Velayati, plans to meet with the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu tomorrow, a source in the Iranian delegation said.
"Dr. Velayati has a meeting planned in the afternoon with the Russian Defense Minister," RIA Novosti cited a source as saying.
Yesterday Ali Akbar Velayati met with Russian Security Council secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov and Russia's special presidential envoy on the Syrian settlement, Alexander Lavrentiev.
