The process toward replacing the serving CSTO Secretary General is still in progress, acting press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anna Naghdalyan said.
"The rest of the steps will be discussed within the framework of the organization, at various levels," Naghdalyan said. "The respective arrangements will be submitted for the discussion and approval of the CSTO Collective Security Council." News.am cited her as saying.
On July 26, CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov has been charged within the framework of the criminal case into the tragic events in Yerevan in March 2008. On July 28, Khachaturov was released on bail.
