Azerbaijan would welcome successful talks between Russia and OPEC to cut production and stabilize oil prices, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the US, Elin Suleymanov, said.
"We would like to see oil prices go up. That is in our interests. If Russia and OPEC can work something out, that would be great," Trend cited him as saying.
Yesterday, the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Aleksander Novak, confirmed Moscow's readiness to take part in a meeting of OPEC.
