The musical and theatrical performance on the occasion of the Days of Culture of Dagestan in Azerbaijan was held in the Heydar Aliyev Palace in Baku, the press service of the head of the republic and the government said.
Azerbaijani parliamentary speaker Ogtay Asadov said that relations between the peoples of both republics are based on deep historical, cultural and moral roots. "It is gratifying that Azerbaijan has developed good relations not only with the Republic of Dagestan, but with the whole Russian Federation. The trade turnover between the two countries in 2015 amounted to more than $ 2 billion. $161 million of this amount is the turnover with Dagestan," he stressed.
Ramazan Abdulatipov, in his turn, welcomed the organizers, participants and guests of the Days of Dagestan in Azerbaijan.
