US President Barack Obama congratulated President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on his 75th birthday and expressed confidence in further development of relations between the two countries, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan said.
On behalf of the citizens of the United States, Obama congratulated Nazarbayev on his birthday and wished him good health and happiness, RIA Novosti reports.
"On the day when you celebrate this special occasion with family and friends, I want to assure you that I am confident in the future development of important bilateral relations for the benefit of our peoples," the press service cited Obama's message as saying.
