Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Turkey does not currently plan to withdraw its troops from northern Iraq.
According to a spokesman for the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Tanju Bilgich, Cavusoglu brought this view to the attention of his Iraqi counterpart Ibrahim al Jaafari. At the same time, Cavusoglu assured that Turkey is suspending further deployment of troops to Iraq, RIA Novosti reports.
