Final agreement on the normalization of relations between Turkey and Israel has not been achieved yet, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at the annual meeting with the ambassadors of the republic.
"We have three conditions for Israel. The first is the apology after the attack on the Mavi Marmara ferry. We have accepted the apologies on this one. Two other conditions are the payment of compensation and lifting of the blockade from Gaza,. But no agreement was reached on these issues," TASS cited him as saying.
The minister stressed that Turkey "will continue to support the Palestinian people." "We have made an important contribution to the fact that 137 countries have recognized Palestine," Cavusoglu noted.
