Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told about his heart-to-heart conversation with the speaker of Russia’s Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, which took place on the sidelines of a conference in Ashgabat on 12 December.
"I told her about our meeting with Sergey Lavrov. Turkey stands for easing tensions and resolving all issues in bilateral relations and international law. This requires positive signals from Russia. On November 24 we expressed regret about the Su-24 incident," the Anadolu agency cited the diplomat as saying.
