The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Hong Lei, said that the country will take part in the broad ministerial meeting on Syria scheduled for November 14.
He said that China welcomes the results of the last ministerial meeting on Syria and supports continuing the fight against the Islamic State terrorist organization and other extremist groups, Gazeta.ru reports.
The last meeting of the foreign ministers was held in Vienna on October 30.
