A native of Dagestan Bagavudin Aliyev was appointed the Russian Consul General in Saudi Arabia. It is known that the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has signed a consular patent on the credentials of the new Consul General.
The Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov congratulated Bagavudin Aliyev on his appointment.
Bagavudin Aliyev was born in the village of Aknada in the Tsumadin District of Dagestan. In 1981 he graduated from the Arabic Department of the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
