 Day 13 of Olympic Games: what to expect?

Today is the thirteenth day of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Athletes will compete for 11 medal sets: boxing, badminton, women's wrestling, canoe/kayak slalom, athletics, sailing, beach volleyball, diving, triathlon, taekwondo and field hockey.

Russian women's national handball team will play against Norway at 02:30 MSK on 19 August.

Russian female Inna Trazhukova will wrestle Marianna Sastin (Hungary) in the weight category under 63 kg and Russian Ekaterina Bukina will wrestle Samar Amer Ibrahim Hamza (Egypt) in the weight category under 75 kg.

Russian boxer Vladimir Nikitin had to fight in the semifinal in the weight category under 56 kg, but his coach took him from the tournament because of injuries he sustained. Thus, Nikitin will take home a bronze medal.

Russian Andrey Kraitor will compete in the men's canoe sprint 200 m final. Azerbaijan will be represented by Valentin Demyanenko. Azerbaijani Inna Osipenko-Radomskaya will compete in the women's canoe sprint 500 m final.

Russians beach volleyball players Vyacheslav Krasilnikov and Konstantin Semenov will play against Dutch Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen for the bronze medal.
Ekaterina Petukhova will represent Russia the women's 10 m platform final.

Russian brothers Dmitry Polyansky and Igor Polyansky, as well as Alexander Bryuhankov will compete in the men's triathlon competitions.

Russian taekwondo fighter Alexey Denisenko will compete in the weight category under 68 kg.
