Turkey should get rid of this system crisis, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with a local television station.
"Some perceive the issue of the parliamentary form of government as a "private matter of Erdogan", but it's not true," the president stressed. "Let the nation choose, then we will apply it," he added.
"It is time to give people a new Constitution. It's time to get rid of the system crisis," Trend cited Erdogan as saying.
