High turnout forces polling stations in Iran to extend working

The Iranian Interior Ministry has announced about the extension of today's elections in the country to the Majlis and the Council of Experts.

The reason for such a decision is the extremely high voter turnout.

In this connection, polling stations are to close two hours later than was earlier planned, i.e. at 8pm local time (7:30 pm Moscow time), Tass reports.
