Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Feridun Sinirlioglu will hold the 5th meeting of the Russian-Turkish Joint Strategic Planning Group in Istanbul on November 25.
It is expected that the ministers will discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation, the situation in Syria and also security in the Middle East and the world.
"Russia and Turkey have common views on many issues and intend to form a constructive dialogue. Moscow and Ankara proceed from the necessity of strengthening cooperation in the solving global and regional issues and providing sustainable development," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
