The Georgian Minister for Punishment Execution, Kakha Kahishvili, arrived in the United States today, the press service of the department said.
Kakhishvili will meet with the Attorney General of Wisconsin, Van Hollen, the Minister for Punishment Execution and detectives of the special division in the Police Department of Wisconsin. The Minister will visit prisons in Oak Hill, Dodge and Oshkosh.
On November 12, he will meet with the US Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, James Walsh, as well as the head of the US Federal Bureau of Prisons.
The return of the delegation to Georgia is scheduled for November 13, Georgia Online reports.
