Award-winning Soviet film director Giorgi Danelia will be buried at Moscow's Novodevichye cemetery on April 9, according to the press service of that Moscow Department of Trade and Services.
Moscow will mourn the death of the director at the Headquarters of the Union of Russian Cinematographers on April 9.
Danelia passed away at the age of 88 in Moscow on April 4 after months of illness. The late director had been admitted to a Moscow hospital with pneumonia in February and placed under medically induced coma.
