An investigation was opened into the killing of four soldiers in Russia's Chechnya, Russia's Investigative Committee said in a statement on its website.
A senior lieutenant of National Guard Troops Marat Hajiyev killed four other servicemen near the village of Shelkovskaya in Chechnya on Monday, then he was killed by the members of an alert unit.
