Japan lifts sanctions against Iran

The Government of Japan has decided to lift the sanctions against Iran after the implementation of the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Fumio Kishida, said.

Earlier, local media reported that the Japanese government will support the companies which will cooperate with Tehran after the lifting of sanctions.

Japan is interested in oil supplies from Iran, as well as car exports to the Iranian market, TASS reports.
