Lebanon and Israel will hold their eighth round of peace settlement talks in Rome on September 15–16, Al Jazeera reported, citing diplomatic sources.
The talks will focus on establishing new "pilot zones" in southern Lebanon to be controlled by the Lebanese armed forces.
The previous round took place on August 4-6 but was interrupted by Hezbollah actions in southern Lebanon.
