Ukraine should not announce the introduction of any counter-sanctions, because Russia hasn’t imposed any sanctions against Ukraine, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Alexey Likhachev said.
"The country used a preferential regime, it even supported the Western sanctions against Russia. After the agreement between the EU and Ukraine came into force, Russia will have trade and economic relations with Ukraine according to the WTO regime. There are normal business relations without additional preferences,’’ Gazeta.ru cites him as saying.
