The Iranian side has initialled two contracts with Russia, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei said at a conference titled 'Iran after the lifting of sanctions'.
"Yesterday Iranian Deputy Minister of Economy Mohammad Khazaei was here. Documents for financing two contracts on construction of thermal stations and a railroad have been initialled," RIA Novosti reports.
Sanai noted that the total volume of the contracts is worth over $2.2 billion.
